Making Your Booking

To book your trip simply choose a start date, select any extras and complete our online booking form. Once your payment has been processed, our reservations team will email you a booking confirmation as soon as possible, plus any other necessary information about your trip. Once you receive a booking confirmation email, your booking is confirmed.

Payments are processed safely via recognised or regulated financial institutions in all transactions other than those paid in bitcoin. Where a customer purchases a tour in Bitcoin, this will be processed manually by a third party professional brokerage (or exchange) at a conversion rate based upon the Bitcoin 'spot' price at the time.


In certain circumstances we may be able to offer a deposit option and a payment plan. This is typically if the duration of the tour/ type of activities makes it more expensive. Please contact us to discuss and we will be happy to let you know on a case by case basis.

Making Changes to Start Dates & Cancellations

Please refer to the individual tour's terms and conditions when making a booking. Please note that you must notify us (Travelbug Tours) a minimum of 72 working hours before the times referred to in the those terms and conditions to give us enough time to inform the tour operator before they need notifying. Otherwise you may be able to contact the tour operator named in those terms directly, as long as it is before their cut off time.

Age Restrictions

We offer tours designed for persons aged 18 – 39 years. Unfortunately persons under 18 years cannot travel with us. Please do not make a booking for anyone under the age of 18 years or over the age of 39 years as unfortunately we will have to return your money minus an admin fee of £50 plus card processor fees.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance is an absolute requirement for all our trips & tours. Please check your policy documents thoroughly to ensure you are adequately covered for the duration of your time overseas and if necessary to cover any extra days in case of delays. Please see our Useful Links page for a link to a useful travel insurance provider.

Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary travel documents for your trip, including valid passport and visa. For entry into most countries you will need to have at least 6 months of validity left on your passport from the date you intend to leave that country. Please check entry requirements for the country you plan on travelling to.

Trip Cancellations

In certain limited circumstances a tour operator may have to cancel a trip. This is entirely out of the control of Travelbug Tours but please note a tour operator may only cancel a trip if it is lawful to do so. Please refer to their terms and conditions at the time of booking a tour.

Tour Operators

The products available on our retail site are operated in conjunction with tour operators & suppliers and are therefore subject to tour specific and also sometimes component-specific booking & cancellation polices. Please refer to the tour operators terms when prompted to in the checkout process for the particular tour.

General Conduct & Behaviour

Your enjoyment and safety is our main concern, and we want you to have a great time. However, antisocial / abusive / dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated. A tour operator, or Travelbug Tours (if we are informed of such behavior), reserve the right to ask anyone who is deliberately or negligently not complying, or causing trouble, to leave the group – in which case no refund will be given and you will have no claim against us.

Acceptance of Risk

By booking a tour with a tour organiser via Travelbug Tours website or otherwise through Travelbug Tours, you acknowledge that the nature of travel is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. In some cases, you may be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical attributes present dangers and physical challenges greater than those present in our daily lives. Group leaders will always be with you during group activities to advise on best practice with regards to safety however there may still be inherent risks due to the nature of the activity and you need to take all reasonable precautions at all times. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you assume the personal risks attendant upon such travel. Depending on the tour operator and their requirements, you may also need to sign a participation form (or similar) on starting the tour - by making a booking on this website you confirm you will sign a participation form or similar as required. If you chose to drink alcohol at any time during the tour then you accept all responsibility for your own safety and that of your belongings. Liability of any tour operator may be limited by their terms and conditions. However, as a Retailer, based in London, with no control over the tour operation or activities, you agree Travelbug Tours will not be liable for any part of your tour safety and will not pursue any claim against us.

Lifetime Deposits

Lifetime deposits are available where applicable. Our Lifetime Deposits means that if you decide to cancel a tour in accordance with our terms and conditions of cancelation, your deposit will be held by us until such a date as you confirm to us in writing that you would like to go on a different trip. We will hold your deposit for as long as you need us to but once it has been transferred to another tour, this guarantee does not transfer and you can only transfer your deposit once.

Price Match Guarantee

We are so confident that we wont be beaten on our price for the same tour elsewhere. So much so that if you find our trip cheaper elsewhere, we'll refund you the difference + £50 when you book with us. To be considered 'cheaper elsewhere' the normal price of the tour on their website in £ (GBP) must be more than 1% cheaper than ours to take into account any currency exchange rates/fees.

Booking Policy – Limitations of Liability

Travelbug Tours cannot be held responsible for any loss as a result of failure of any third-parties (including but not limited to Airlines, Tour Operators & Hoteliers), however we will give every reasonable assistance in helping you to resolve any dispute. The responsibility of Travelbug Tours as a Travel Retailer is limited. We are not liable for any personal injury, death, damage, loss, accident or delay which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying you or carrying out the arrangements of the tour or otherwise in connection therewith.


Competitions are strictly subject to terms and conditions. 

Tree Program

Travelbug Tours is committed to responsible travel. We will plant a tree for every customer who goes on one of our tours within 12 months of the tour.

Travelbug Tours is a trading name of Charlie Bravo Services Limited, a limited company registered in England with Companies House. Any reference to Travelbug Tours is ultimately a reference to Charlie Bravo Services Limited.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and any agreement between you and Travelbug Tours are governed by the laws of England. Any dispute be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
